Standards and Expectations

Fraternities and sororities at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute are expected to uphold Institute policies, follow chapter and inter/national bylaws, and contribute positively to the campus community.

Chapter Accountability and Status

Chapters are held accountable through a shared model of self-governance and Institute oversight. Transparency around conduct and standing is maintained through chapter status updates.

Reporting Concerns

Anyone can report a concern involving a fraternity or sorority. Reports are reviewed and addressed to support a safe and respectful community.

Chapters participate in an accreditation process designed to assess performance, encourage reflection, and highlight contributions to the campus community.
