Leadership Programs

Program is for Juniors & Seniors

PLP prepares students for the workplace by helping them develop leadership skills, character, and resilience. Simulating a professional environment, the program includes guest speakers, interactive activities, and networking opportunities with corporate executives, enabling students to understand workplace culture, navigate global market trends, and present themselves effectively while evaluating career fit and building key professional skills.

To apply, email your resume and cover letter to Susan Henry, Associate Director and Lecturer, at henrys3@rpi.edu.

This program is designed to cultivate authenticity, humility, service, ambition, and mentorship, the core values that drive impactful leadership. A dynamic program that empowers students to grow as leaders through hands-on, experiential learning. Our team of student LEAPers are trained facilitators with expertise in group dynamics, emotional safety, and proven leadership models.

Through interactive workshops, LEAPers help participants sharpen their communication, problem-solving, conflict management, and team collaboration skills. These experiences not only build stronger leaders but also equip individuals with tools that make a lasting impact, both personally and professionally.

LEAP Team-Building Opportunities:

  • Low Ropes Challenge Courses: LEAP facilitates interactive sessions for campus groups, including student organizations, Greek Life, athletics, and university departments.
  • Community Outreach: Leadership workshops are offered to middle schools, high schools, and other colleges to encourage growth and teamwork in younger students.
  • Campus Collaboration: LEAP collaborates with other Archer Center programs to support leadership development across the university.
