The Student Experience Excellence Awards (formerly the Graduating Student Awards) honor RPI students who have made an exceptional impact during their time on campus. The awards recognize excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, service, and volunteerism—celebrating achievement both inside and outside the classroom.
The Dean's Honor List comes out every semester to celebrate undergrad students who’ve completed at least 12 credit hours at Rensselaer and earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher, with no grades below a C.
A prestigious award that recognizes undergraduate students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, character, and service to the RPI community. It's one of the highest honors that can be awarded to students at the institution, and recognizes those who have made significant contributions both in and out of the classroom.
The Founders Award of Excellence was established in 1994 and is given annually to students who embody qualities of creativity, discovery, leadership, pride, and responsibility. Winners are nominated by faculty, staff, and fellow students and selected by RPI’s schools of Architecture; Engineering; Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences; Lally School of Management; and Science. Recipients are honored at the Honors Convocation each October.
