As we reflect on the 2025–2026 academic year, I am proud of the progress we have made across Student Experience and, more importantly, of the collective effort that made that progress possible. This year also marked an important step forward with the establishment of our Student Experience Strategic Plan for 2026–2030, which gives us a shared framework for the work ahead. Centered on belonging and excellence, impactful experiences, Well-Being, stewardship, and staff development, the plan reflects both who we are as a Division and where we intend to go. The accomplishments highlighted in this report—from expanded academic and career support to stronger health and Well-Being resources, new opportunities for engagement, and more coordinated systems of care—show that this work is already taking shape in meaningful ways.
We have spent much of the last year working to create a kinder, gentler, and easier to navigate RPI. Through the efforts of the Student Experience team, our campus partners, and most importantly, our students, we have worked to create a culture of care that transforms the student experience. We carry this work forward into 2026-2027, and as noted in our report below, we have concrete next steps to continue to enhance the student experience at RPI.
As we look toward 2030, our strategic plan will help guide our priorities, shape our investments, and keep us focused on the student experience we want to create. We will continue using data to understand where we are making an impact, strengthening partnerships across RPI, and finding new ways to make support easier for students to access and navigate. Most importantly, we will continue working toward an environment in which every student feels connected, challenged, supported, and prepared for what comes next. The progress represented in this report gives us a strong foundation, and I am confident that, together, we can continue building a Student Experience that is increasingly integrated, responsive, and centered on student success through 2030.
We educate. We engage. We empower.
Sincerely,
Rob Hradsky
Vice Provost for the Student Experience
