Multipurpose Rooms
Three Multipurpose Rooms are available to reserve for fitness, clubs, dance, martial arts, and group activities.
Fitness programs and equipment are open to students, staff, and faculty. Fitness classes may require a small fee.
Designed specifically for female students, faculty, and staff to learn the fundamentals of strength training and nutrition in an inclusive, safe space.
Led by Strength & Conditioning Coach, Kaitlin Veigl, you will learn a variety of weightlifting exercises using proper form through a 90-minute demonstration.
The second portion of the program focuses on 30 minutes of nutrition education. Registered Dietitian, Kim Mayer, RDN discusses how to keep your body hydrated before and after a workout. She also provides sample meals to maintain a well-balanced diet.
Rensselaer Dining provides free nutritious snacks during this program.
